Focus on the Family Magazine

This was such a fun assignment! The art director for FOTF Magazine hired me to do one of my favorite things…or rather, a couple of them. This particular job required taking a walk to collect fall leaves (not to mention pinecones, acorns, and other various treasures—which happens to be another hobby of mine, much to my husband’s chagrins), some quality time to craft out some animal friends, and then styling and photographing them for the final layout. It was mid-summer at the time, so I had to look extra hard to find any colorful, crunchy leaves that could pass for fall … but I found just what I needed to create several fun little woodland creatures.
