Created by the parenting team at Focus on the Family, Ages & Stages is a comprehensive, research-backed manual designed to walk parents through every year of a child’s development—from birth through age 18. Written by a team of trusted experts, this 190 page guide features one in-depth, 10-page chapter for each year of life.

I was responsible for the full design of the guide, shaping the visual tone to match the content’s warm, encouraging approach. We chose a charming, whimsical style—filled with playful touches and light-hearted illustrations—to balance the clinical depth with a sense of approachability and optimism.

The result is a practical yet beautifully designed parenting resource that feels both insightful and inspiring—helping parents feel equipped and empowered at every stage.
